Birds are hard working mothers with some exceptions like the some of the cuckoo bird species which are brood parasites (lay eggs in other bird’s nests). When it comes to nest building, picking insects for young ones and protecting their chicks, mother birds are extremely skillful.

Wouldn’t be fair calling them birdbrain. Would it?
