The Fantail Flycatcher got its name from its beautiful tail, shaped like a Japanese fan with white edges. The brown body of the bird highlights its white neck and white eyebrows.

A Fantail Flycatcher is always curious and restless. If you think shaking your leg is a bad habit, a flycatcher keeps flipping its tail up and down and sideways, continuously in and out with its fantail. The fancy bird, prancing from twigs to twigs spreading its fantail undergrowth from time to time, gives photographers a good run for their money.

When the flycatcher is hunting for insects, it appears like dancing. What’s the harm in flaunting it when you know you’re slaying it?
