Now, why are we mentioning these in specific?

So that when you go shopping for a drink the ingredient label is so small and there are so many numbers given and very few descriptive names.  I wanted to make it easy for you to see exactly what you are drinking, so you can make a choice based on your own intuition.

 PepsiCo Pepsi went through a controversy in India dealing with: Water usage, pesticide regulation and a short-lived ban in Kerala.  The Pepsi company dates back to 1893 with its origin in the USA and Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist, as the inventor.

PEPSI

• High fructose corn syrup– (This is provided in other countries, but in India it says “sugar”.)

COCA COLA COMPANY  – Coca cola formula dates back to 1886, with its origin in the USA and John Pemberton as the inventor.  In 1885 he created coca wine as a substitute for morphine, because he became addicted to morphine in the American Civil War and it contained wine and cocaine. During prohibition he developed a nonalcoholic version of the coca wine and named it Coca-Cola. Asa G. Candler bought it when it was sold in 1886 and founded the Coca Cola Company. Its brands are:
